Remote Education

Ensuring our pupils continue their education

We have put plans in place to ensure that pupils continue their education when working from home. We recognise the importance of providing high quality remote education and we will continue to teach a range of subjects so that children can keep making progress at home.

We also realise that everyone’s circumstances at home will be different. Some families have one child to support while others have several. Some families do not have adequate technology at home, some have one device to share while others may have more. Some parents will have plenty of time to help their children learn, while others will be working from home and may have much less time. Some children will be able to work more independently than others or need a greater challenge. Due to this, we are providing flexibility within our approach to home learning.

3 day Remote Education support

If your child is absent from school, we provide a package of teaching and class-work for a period of 5 days. Below are the links to the first 3 days of this provision.  Click on the year group for your child.

During this initial three day period, we will make contact with you to let you know how to access the following 2 days and any further ongoing work required for your child.

In the event that you are unable to access your child’s work online, please contact the school office 0121 464 4255 or email enquiry@wychall.drbignitemat.org straight away. Staff will be happy to assist you in arranging another way of receiving your child’s work to ensure they continue to make good progress with their learning.
