Wychall Reception and Nursery children had a fantastic time at ‘Wychall-Super-Mare’ today where the beach came to school! The children looked fabulous in their beachwear ready for a super time.

The children enjoyed a wide range of activities including;
  • Learning about staying safe in the sun and sunbathing
  • Water safety and only paddling between the red and yellow flags
  • Performing puppet shows
  • Building sandcastles
  • Running the ice-cream stall (and eating real ice-creams too)
  • Relaxing on the sun-loungers
  • Playing in the ball pool
  • Popping bubbles
  • Playing in the paddling pool – including dolphin and orca rides!!
  • Enjoying the bouncy castle and waterslide
  • They even enjoyed chips on the beach!
The children had an amazing time, and their faces told us all we needed to know about how thoroughly they enjoyed ‘Wychall Beach Day’.
A big thank you to the Year 5 children who supported the event and to the staff, parents and volunteers who worked incredibly hard to get the event ready and for all their hard work during the day.
The weather was perfect, the children were fabulous, and it will be a day that none of us will forget for a very long time!
